Almond Flour Brownies

Delicious gluten-free brownies made with almond flour.

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup raw cacao powder (can also use natural cocoa powder)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper. 
  • In a small bowl, whisk together eggs and sugar.
  • Add melted butter and vanilla to egg mixture and stir to combine.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients: almond flour, cacao powder, baking powder, and salt. 
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (you don't want to over mix it).
  • Transfer the batter to your baking pan.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, until the edges are set and the middle looks slightly under-baked. The middle will continue to cook while it cools so you want to take it out of the oven before it is completely cooked through. 
  • Cool completely and then cut into squares.
